GUWAHATI, May 12 - Arya Bhat English HS School registered a massive 111-run victory against Purba Bhasa Vidya Niketan in the inaugural match of the 15th All Assam Dhan Sena Sinha Memorial Inter School Prize-money Cricket Tournament organised by the River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre.
At the Latasil playground here today, put in to bat, Arya Bhat boys scored 177 for eight in their allotted 20 overs. Purba Bhasa miserably failed to chase the target and were bundled out for 66 in 14.3 overs.
Brief scores: Arya Bhat English HS School 177/8 (Krishna Verma 39, Nihal Sahani 31, Munna Ali 25; Keshrinandan Sharma 4/41, Aryan Lama 2/28). Purba Bhasa 66 all out (Nikhil Sharma 25; Amit Das 3/18, Robin Basfor 2/15, Sudarshan Yadav 2/17).
