ITANAGAR, June 10 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday launched the Arunachal Rising Campaign here.
The campaign was launched with the objective to reach out to the people throughout the State targeting remote areas and make them aware of the government initiatives, policies and programmes.
Information and Public Relations Minister Bamang Felix said the campaign will try to reach the remotest part of the State.
�The campaign, which is a part of the budget announcement, is the need of the hour as it will facilitate development process to reach the remotest part of the State and provide the much needed impetus and fillip to the development activities,� Felix said.
A web portal and mobile apps www.Arunachalmonitoring.com prepared by the department of Finance, Planning and Investment was also launched for satellite based monitoring and geo-tagging of developmental projects in the State. � PTI
