ITANAGAR, Oct 29 - Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday recorded 108 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking its total tally to 14,580. On the contrary, 183 patients were discharged following their recovery from the disease, according to a bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services here.
The Itanagar Capital Complex accounted for 28 of the new cases, followed by Lower Subansiri (12), Siang (8) and Lower Dibang Valley (7). Changlang, West Siang, Tawang, Lohit and East Siang reported six cases each.
Upper Subansiri and Leparada recorded five cases each, and Longding and Upper Siang three each. Two cases were registered in Papumpare, and one each in Pakke Kessang, Kra Daadi, Tirap, Namsai and West Kameng.
Seventy-five of the new cases have been found to be asymptomatic and 33 symptomatic, as per the bulletin. The new cases also include three security personnel and two healthcare workers.
Of the 183 discharged cases, the Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest (53), followed by Lohit (25), Upper Subansiri (24), Siang (17), Changlang (15) and East Siang (14).
