Arunachal official returns safely

ITANAGAR, March 8 � Doli Nyodu, chief executive officer of Arunachal Rural Roads Development Agency (ARRDA) under State�s Rural Works Department, who was reportedly kidnapped by unknown miscreants, returned home safe along with his driver Wilson Teron, this morning.

Nyodu and his driver returned at 8 am today. The Police, however, did not rule out the possibility of payment of money for release of the abducted officer.

He was picked up some miscreants from outside his official residence at C-sector, Itanagar on Thursday evening while he was returning home from office.

Chief Minister Nabam Tuki and senior Congress leader Takam Sanjoy had expressed grave concern over the reported abduction of Doli Nyodu and appealed the abductors to release him without any condition. Tuki had also directed for extensive search operation by security forces.
