Arunachal Guv calls on PM

ITANAGAR, June 8 - Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (retired) called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday. During the meeting, the Governor apprised the Prime Minister of the progress of various Central schemes and development plans in the frontier State.

The Governor mentioned the progress on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and agricultural development schemes in the State. He also briefed the Prime Minister on other youth welfare-related activities being run in the State.

The Prime Minister expressed his good wishes for the people of Arunachal Pradesh and also desired progressive implementation of all the development schemes for the benefit and welfare of the people of the State.
