BARAMA, Nov 29 � The district administration and police are ready for the BTC by-polls to be held for No. 24 Mushalpur and No. 26 Darangajuli constituencies on December 1.
The district administration has identified 53 polling station as very sensitive, 44 polling stations as sensitive and 48 polling stations as safe among the total 146 polling stations. According to information available, 33 among 85 polling stations under the Mushalpur constituency have been identified as very sensitive and 18 as safe.
On the other hand, as many as 20 polling stations under Darangajuli constituency are very sensitive, while 10 polling stations are sensitive and 30 polling stations are reportedly safe.
As many as 62,068 voters and 46,567 voters will cast their votes in Mushalpur and Darangajuli constituencies respectively.
Meanwhile, all necessary arrangements have been completed to conduct the poll smoothly. Additionals police forces, CRPF, armed security forces and Home Guards will be engaged for the smooth conduct of the poll in both the constituencies.
