TEZPUR, June 21 � A plantation drive in Bomdila was inaugurated by Maj Gen G Jaishankar, General Officer Commanding, Ball of Fire Division of Gajraj Corps, Indian Army recently.
A large number of saplings including Silver Oak and Pine were planted by personnel of the division and local population of Bomdila.
On the occasion, the GOC said, �Indian Army is always there to guide the younger generation about their responsibility towards the society and environment. It is our solemn duty to conserve the flora for future generations.�
