ITANAGAR, May 15 - An army jawan died today during a routine training activity in Arunachal Pradesh after which his colleagues got agitated and roughed up a Captain.

Four to five jawans became emotional and agitated following the death of a fellow soldier, an army officer said. It is not a case of mutiny, he said.

The death took place during a routine training activity, he said.

The jawan complained of chest pain prior to a route march and was checked by the unit medical officer who found him fit. He later collapsed during the march. He was rushed to the field ambulance where he died, the officer said.

He said that four-five jawans became emotional while being consoled by their adjutant, the Captain. They got agitated leading to a scuffle, he said, adding that no one was injured.
