GUWAHATI, April 29 - The All Kamrup District Armwrestling Championship was organised at the New Brindaban Garden, RG Baruah Road here yesterday.
Mrigankajit Goswami and Prahlad Shankar Bhagawati were adjudged champion of champions in the men and masters categories respectively.
Results: (Men, 55kg) 1st Imran Ali, 2nd Diganta Das, 3rd Regaul Ali; (56kg) 1st Asidul Ali; (64kg) 1st Bitu Saha, 2nd Rubul Oja, 3rd Keshab Barman; (71-78kg) 1st Anirudhya Das, 2nd Hirakjyoti Bezbaruah, 3rd Sahjaman Saikia; (79-86kg) 1st Jintu Patuwari, 2nd Monoj Das; (87-95kg) 1st Mrigankajit Goswami; (Masters, champion of champions) Prahlad Shankar Bhagawati.
