UDALGURI, April 23 � As part of the first ever Udalguri Youth Festival organized by the 315 Field Regiment (Kargil) of Red Horns Division which got under way today at various locations in Udalguri, the final of archery events was held at Nalbari Sports Complex.
Among the 21 selected archers, of which three were girls, Bigrai Boro of Khoirabari (335 points) and Dipen Boro of Khoirabari (327 points) were awarded gold and silver medals in boys section and Rumali Boro (276 points) and Nwjwmsri Boro (272 points) both from Khoirabari were awarded gold and silver medals by MK Gautam, Commanding Officer of 149 CRPF, Rowta in the presence of Colonel Sunil Upadhyaya.
Commanding officer of 315 Field Regiment (Kargil) and Mitharam Basumatary, executive member of BTC Assembly were also present on the occasion.
