AALO, Oct 29 - Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS) led by its president and Assam Sahitya Sabha awardee YD Thongchi, Dr Takop Zirdo, chairman, Galo Language Development Committee and others conducted a day-long Gramlok Poets Meet at Pakam village of West Siang district on October 26, a press release said.

Speaking on the occasion, Thongchi said that literature is the mirror in which we see our society and many civilisations are based on strength of creative writings of writers across the world. It is important to create platforms for budding writers across the State, he said and added that APLS will help upcoming writers and poets in their endeavours to bring out books.
