GUWAHATI, Aug 6 - Assam Police Blues, riding on a 44th minute goal by Sanjib Borgohain edged past FC Green Valley in their opening match of the RG Baruah Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) Super Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today.
It was the second match of the championship which hardly could attract spectators to the stands.
Ball for Super Division Clubs: In a bid to encourage the Super Division Clubs, the GSA has decided to provide two footballs each to all the eight clubs.
GSA president Munin Nobis, secretary Dhruba Kalita along with other members distributed the balls to the teams.
