GUWAHATI, Sept 3 - A section of guardians of the trainees in the gymnastic hall, situated at the Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here, has alleged that the training procedures in the hall are not proper.
The guardians wrote to the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare that the training in the hall is not scientific and alleged that the coaches of the hall are not competent enough to train the beginners as well as the advanced trainees. They also alleged that the coaches, although they are government employees, collect money from the guardians without providing money receipt. The guardians wrote to the Director that the assistant female coach humiliates the trainees and serves severe punishment during training, stated a release.
