GUWAHATI, May 13 � Two matchesof the Dhan Sena Sinha Memorial Inter-School Cricket Championship, organised by River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre were played at the Latasil playground here today.
In the first match of the day, Angels English School beat Purbuttar Purbanchal P Academy by a huge margin of 116 runs. In the day�s second encounter, Dantin English High School handed Presidency School an 8-wicket drubbing.
Angels boys amassed 179 for seven in the stipulated 20 overs. Aryan Sharma top scored with 58 while Mohit Soni added 31. M Ramana was the other notable contributor with 25. Chasing the target, Purbuttar were bundled out for 63. Rabindralal Lakhara wrecked the Purbuttar innings with a four-wicket haul.
Put into bat, Presidency managed to gather 112 in 19.1 overs and in reply Dantin boys smacked up 116 for two in 15 overs.
