GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - Andhra pacer Paidikalva Vijaykumar�s six wicket haul restricted Kerala to 188 for eight on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy Group C match at the Barsapara stadium here today.
Electing to field first the Andhara bowlers started putting pressure on the Kerala batsmen from the initial stage and reduced them 107 for five.
However, some good batting by lower middle order Mohammed Azharuddeen, gave Kerala some respectability. He scored 82 off 201 balls with 12 hits to the fence. He stitched useful partnerships with Rohan Prem (42 off 131 balls), Iqbal Abdulla (27).
