Ancient artifacts recovered at Kaziranga

GOLAGHAT, Feb 18 � Several ancient artifacts were recovered at Dumjan village near Kaziranga National Park under Kohora Police Station on February 10 when some people were digging up a big water tank.

The artifacts recovered included silver coins, iron sticks and one jevelin etc.

The local people later handed over the artifacts to the police which was later handed over district administration. The Bokakhat sub-division administration later sent them to the archeological department, Guwahati, police sources said.
