AGARTALA, April 4 - After conquering four States Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa in the recently concluded Assembly elections, the resurgent BJP leadership are eyeing on toppling the Marxist-led government in Tripura.

To provide a political roadmap on how to oust the Marxist government, BJP president Amit Shah would be arriving here on May 7. Shahji is scheduled to arrive here on May 7 and will leave the following day after a brainstorming session with party leaders here, said BJP Pradesh Prabhari Sunil Deodhar at a press conference here today.

Deodhar, who is going to Delhi on Wednesday to finalize Amit Shahs programme for the State, said that the partys national executive meeting would be held on April 15 and 16 to take stock of the partys recent electoral success in the four States and plan for the States going to the elections by next one year.

For BJP, Tripura is the prime target to capture power and put an end to the long Marxist rule, although Meghalaya is also on the partys radar. We are of the view that the party could win Tripura riding on the organization strength and wind blowing in favour of the party. Thats why Amitjis visit is crucial for us, he explained.

Before the party presidents visit, the BJP also unfolded programmes to be organized by the partys frontal organizations like Mahila Morcha, OBC Morcha and Yuba Morcha.
