DIBRUGARH, Aug 19 - Police last night arrested Bishal Karmakar (21), the main accused in the alleged rape and murder of a teenage girl of Borborooah Tea Estate.
Bishal alias Taklu killed the girl by strangulation on August 17. Police said that the accused has confessed committing the crime because of a one-sided love affair.
However, the alleged rape has not been confirmed yet, SP Subashini Sankaran told The Assam Tribune.
