IMPHAL, Sept 9 � The next meeting of the All-Political Party ILP Committee has been scheduled for September 15 and this time the committee is expected to submit a detailed report to the Manipur government.
For the second time, representatives of the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS), which has been spearheading the ILP movement in Manipur, missed a joint meeting convened by the State government for talks on the Inner Line Permit System issue due to some unavoidable circumstances, sources informed.
The All-Political Party ILP Committee, however, met at the Chief Minister's conference hall this afternoon sans any JCILPS representative. The committee is sitting for the third time on September 15, sources said, adding that the committee would be submitting its report to the government soon.
