SHILLONG, March 4 - All three Independent candidates are likely to join the coalition headed by NPP, with one of them � Samuel Sangma lending his support to the coalition today.
Syntar Klass Sunn, one of the Independent candidates from Mawphlang said that he has kept his options open and both Congress and NPP has approached him to give his support. Sunn said as of now he is undecided and would speak to his supporters. He later added that it is better to align with a party at the Centre so that funds to the State flows smoothly.
The other Independent, Lambor Malgniang has not come into the picture so far. The reason being he defeated the president of HSPDP (NPP�s coalition partner) Ardent Basaiawmoit and so in due course he would move into the alliance, sources said.
