GUWAHATI, Nov 15 � City boy Alen Deori impressed with his skills and temperament. The teenager showed enough skills in his maiden appearance in an ISL home match today. Alen was in the starting line-up, Durga Boro had to have his seat on the bench, and was fielded as a midfielder. Earlier, he was brought in to the ground in the NEUFC�s away match against Chenniyan in the second half. Alen started from the left flank and initiated a couple of moves exhibiting his ball control. But he has to improve his ball speed and heading ability.
He got a couple of high balls from flag kicks but had to squander the opportunities due to lack of good head work.
