GUWAHATI, Sept 4 � Reacting sharply to Irrigation Minister Dr Ardhendu Dey�s sensational revelation laying bare the large-scale corruption in the department, the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba-Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) said that it was shocking that the Chief Minister was not taking any action against the corrupt officials even after submission of an inquiry report by his ministerial colleague.
In a statement, the AJYCP said that the developments laid bare the so-called clean image of the Chief Minister, and demanded immediate action against the culprits responsible for turning the department into a white elephant.
