Dhubri, Jan 25: Reacting to the recent comment by Dhubri MP Badruddin Ajmal, district minority cell president of the BJP Mirza Khan said that the AIUDF supremo is trying to instigate the minority people to fan communalism before the ensuing election.

Addressing mediapersons on Sunday, Khan, along with other leaders of the BJP, stated, “By making a baseless statement that the Centre is planning to demolish over 33 hundred mosques in the country, the Dhubri MP is simply trying to polarize society with votes in mind.”

“Where did Ajmal get this list of mosques? He must make both the list and the source public,” Khan said.

The minority leader of the BJP also added that Ajmal is suffering from insecurities as thousands of people from the AIUDF has joined the BJP, due to which he is instigating the minority people to create communal disharmony in society. Khan also pointed out that no communal clash has happened under the BJP-led governments.

Claiming Ajmal is being funded by sources that also fund terrorist organizations, Khan added that the BJP will take legal actions against Ajmal.

“We will lodge an FIR against Ajmal soon, so that no one can disturb the peaceful coexistence and harmony in the State.”
