GUWAHATI, Feb 13 - The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) today distanced itself from the recent objectionable and provocative comments made by its legislator Aminul Islam and said that they do not reflect the views of the party.
Dhing MLA Islam had recently made a provocative comment against the Ahom community.
In a statement, AIUDF said the comments made by Islam are his personal view.
�It does not reflect the views of the AIUDF. Our party has no animosity against any community and no intention to hurt anybody. We have always held the opinion that the foreigners issue should be solved as per the Assam Accord,� said the party.
