HAILAKANDI, Aug 4 The AIUDF has strongly reacted over the recent comment passed by former Deputy Prime Minister and BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani over the recent violence in BTAD area.

In a press conference, AIUDF MLA of Katigorah and spokesman of the party, Ataur Rahman Majharbhuiya demanded the arrest of Advani for terming the violence of BTAD area as a clash between Bangladeshi infiltrators and Indians. He said that the Bodoland violence rendered about five lakh indigenous Bengali Muslims homeless and the question of involvement of Bangladeshi infiltrators doesnt arise.

Majharbhuiya alleged that the recent violence in all the places in BTAD is being spearheaded by Hagrama Mahilary and demanded the dissolution of BTC immediately. He termed the comment of Lal Krishna Advani as instigative and extreme communal. He alleged that Advani picks up Bangladeshi infiltrators in all the issues of Assam because it is very easy to malign the Muslim community of the State as Bangladeshi infiltrator.

MLA Majharbhuiya said that Advani came to India from Pakistan and till today he has not nurtured his life and activities as an Indian. He also alleged that Advani doesnt have any soft corner for the indigenous Indians and due to this he often indulges communal violence in the country and also demanded his arrest under national security act.

MLA Ataur Rahman also demanded the arrest of BTC chief Hagrama Mahilary in order to return peace in the area because he is the main hurdle in maintaining peace and harmony in BTAD area. He also suggested the police to recover all the weapons from the Bodo people and demands deployment of Army in entire BTAD area.
