GUWAHATI, Feb 11 Terming the victory of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly polls as an unprecedented event, the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has said that it has created a tumult in Indian politics and upset all political arithmetic and will have an impact in next years Assembly elections in Assam.

AIUDF supremo and Lok Sabha MP Maulana Badruddin Ajmal said a non-BJP and non-Congress government will be formed in Assam after the 2016 polls.

Congratulating the AAP and its leader Arvind Kejriwal on the partys stunning performance in the Delhi polls, Ajmal said the results have demonstrated that the people of India are politically conscious.

He said that the BJP-led regime at the Centre has failed to provide any succour to the people during its nine months in office and this has led the people to desert it. Ajmal said that Congress history of corruption has led the people to reject the grand old party.
