GUWAHATI, April 1 - The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has called upon all those from the State who attended the recent Tablighi Jamaat congregation at Markaz Nizamuddin in Delhi to adhere to the governments directives and report to their nearest hospitals and health centres.

AIUDF president and Lok Sabha MP Badruddin Ajmal said that everyone in India has become concerned after reports emerged that some participants of the Tablighi Jamaat congregation have tested positive for COVID-19.

We are also members of the Tablighi Jamaat and we have a lot of dedication for the Tablighi Jamaat. But what has happened is undesirable and unfortunate, Ajmal said.

He said that the entire world is now fighting against COVID-19 and urged all those who had participated in the Tablighi Jamaat congregation to report to their nearest hospitals and health centres.

Ajmal warned that failure to do so could endanger the health and well-being of others.
