SHILLONG, Aug 11 - Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha will inaugurate a two-day Commanders� Conference of the Eastern Air Command at its headquarters here tomorrow.
The Air Chief Marshal would be interacting with all the Field Commanders during the Commanders� meet, Group Captain Amit Mahajan and PRO, EAC, said. Air Chief Marshal Raha would be accompanied with his wife Lily Raha.
Air Chief Marshal Raha graduated from NDA, Pune and was commissioned in the Flying Branch in December 1974. He is an alumnus of the Defense Service Staff College, Wellington and the National Defense College, Delhi. He is an experienced fighter pilot with nearly 3,400 hours of flying experience.
Air Chief Marshal Raha would be received by Air Marshal SB Deo, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, EAC, Group Captain Mahajan informed.
