GUWAHATI, Aug 14 - Bringing reprieve for students who had passed the Higher Secondary Final examinations during the period 1985-2005, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has revoked the deadline of August 17 set earlier for applying for pass certificates.
In a press release here today, AHSEC said that from now on the candidates who passed Higher Secondary Finals during 1985-2005 would be able to apply online for the said documents through its website www.ahsec.nic.in according to their own convenience.
The decision was taken after some misinformation was spread by a certain quarter and the inconvenience caused by it was noticed by incumbent Secretary of AHSEC Manoranjan Kakati.
The AHSEC release further said that the Council is also offering online service for rechecking and registration for Higher Secondary classes. Students can apply through the website www.ahsec.nic.in.
