GUWAHATI, June 13 The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) today strongly reacted to State Government spokesperson Himanta Biswa Sarmas yesterdays remark asserting that the Minister is trying to rake up dead issues to cover up the ruling Government's failures.

Referring to Sarmas comment on secret killings, the AGP leadership questioned why the State Government was reluctant to act on the findings of the Justice KN Saikia Inquiry Commission.

Accusing Himanta Biswa Sarma of having a tainted record, the AGP leadership claimed that the former by contradicting the comments of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is trying to play the role of a super CM.

We have no problem whatsoever if the culprits responsible for the secret killings are booked. But it is the moral responsibility of the ruling Government and not anyone else, said general secretary Durga Das Boro while talking to mediapersons today.
