GUWAHATI, Dec 8 - AG Assam sealed their place in the final of the IA and AD East Zone Football Tournament defeating AG Odisha 4-3 via tie-breaker at Patna today.
Both the sides failed to break the deadlock in regular time which saw the match proceeding to extra time and finally into tie-breaker. Durga Boro,Holicharan Narzary, Biren Narzary, Naresh Chetry found the back of the net for the Assam side in tie-breaker while Sanjeeva Rongpi missed the target. In the other semifinal, AG Bengal eased past AG Bihar 2-0. AG Assam will lock horns with AG Bengal in the final tomorrow stated a press release.
