GUWAHATI, May 5 � Assam Football Association (AFA) has suspended 15 players for avoiding the State Santosh Trophy selection camp held recently at Nagaon.
Informing this, AFA secretary Ankur Dutta said, as per its governing body resolution, the players who skip the selection camp of State teams without valid ground, will be suspended for six months. To avoid their punishment, the players have to submit valid reasons with documentary evidence.
The suspended players are: Jena Rongmai, Sibra Narzary, Partha P Chakravorty (Guwahati), Devendra (Tezpur), Dhaneswar Narzary (Kokrajhar).
