AEC-91 batch to celebrate silver jubilee

JALUKBARI, Oct 29 - Engineers belonging to the 1991 batch of the Assam Engineering College (AEC) are going to celebrate the silver jubilee of their passing out in an elaborate manner.

The silver jubilee celebration will begin with a techno quiz contest on October 31 in the AEC auditorium, Jalukbari from 10 am. The quiz is being organised jointly by AEC-91 batch and the AEC Students� Union.

The first prize of the quiz is Rs 15,000, second prize is Rs 10,000 and the third prize is Rs 6,000. The 4th, 5th and 6th prizes will be of Rs 2000 each. There will also be lots of attractive prizes for the audience.

The AEC-91 batch will also publish a career guide book for students of engineering colleges titled Footprints of AEC-91 on the same day, sharing their 25 years of experience, guidance to engineering students in respect of career opportunity. The book will be inaugurated by noted innovator Uddhab Kr Bharali.

The main event will be held on December 25 and 26. Felicitation of faculty members, release of souvenir, facelift of college auditorium, cultural programme etc., are planned for the main event.
