By STAFF Reporter

GUWAHATI, June 15 The Kamrup Metro district administration today warned of strict action against any school which is found to have violated its direction to suspend classes following the heat wave of earlier this week.

Reacting to medias queries regarding reports of a couple of schools re-starting their classes today, Kamrup Metro DC Ashutosh Agnihotri said action would be taken against such institutions.

Maybe the schools did not receive our directives. We will seek a report. If we find that they have done it (re-opened) willfully, we will take action against them, he said.

Thedistrict administration had declared schools in the district closed on June 13 and 14 and then extended it till today in view ofthe hotweather conditions.
