ACA camps for juniors, sr ID from May 25

GUWAHATI, May 18 - The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) is going to conduct coaching camps for the boys U-16 from May 21 and this camp will be followed by the U-19 camp which will kick start on June 6. Both the camps will be of 15 days.

Stating this in a release, the ACA secretary Devajit Saikia informed that a panel of coaches including Subharajit Saikia, Sandipan Debnath, Arlen Konwar and Rajiv Rajbongshi have been appointed for the camp while Navajit Kaushik will be the trainer. All the affiliated districts are informed to send four players each for the camps. Players of last year�s State teams in these categories will also attend the camps.

Meanwhile, the ACA has decided to host the senior inter-district tournaments among 36 teams from May 25 onwards in six zones. Matches of the Upper Assam Zone will be played at Jorhat and Charaideo while Nagaon and Bokakhat will organise the Central Zone matches. The Lower Assam Zone matches will be played at Barpeta and Bongaigaon while Tezpur and Biswanath Chariali will host the Northern Assam Zone matches. The Southern Assam Zone matches will be played at Silchar and Karimganj and the Head Quarter Zone matches are scheduled to be played at Judges� Field here and NF Railway SA Stadium, Maligaon respectively.
