GUWAHATI, July 4 � A new born baby girl aged about 10 to 12 days was found in an abandoned state near Srimantapur locality today after which the baby was shifted to GMCH.
GMCH superintendant Dr Ramen Talukdar said that the baby was brought to the hospital by the police this afternoon and is presently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
He said that all necessary steps are being taken in this regard. It has also been learnt that a DNA test will be conducted to ascertain whether it was the same baby which was stolen from the GMCH recently.
