JORABAT, Sept 25 - The AASU�s Kamrup Metro unit will launch a protest programme throughout the district along with its branch and regional units tomorrow against the hike in fuel and LPG prices.
Dibyajyoti Medhi, general secretary of Kamrup Metro unit of AASU, said that all the units in the district will protest against the price hike as it is affecting the poor and middle-class people.
�The effigy of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also be burnt by our units during the protest. We demand of the Central government to bring fuel under GST, which will reduce the problems of price rise,� he added.
