AASU takes out bike rally against CAA in Raha

Raha, March 20 : Members of All Assam Students' Union's (AASU) Raha unit took out a bike rally today demanding scrapping of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019.

The protesters, carrying the organisation’s flag and placards, started the rally from Gopinath Bordoloi High School premise in Raha.

Passing through the main thoroughfares, they covered several kilometres of distance in the outskirts of Raha town.

AASU Nagaon district Education Secretary Sanjoy Kumar Kakati and Raha unit AASU leaders, took part in the bike rally.

The bike rally was flagged off by Pankaj Bora, Vice President of AASU, Nagaon district.

The protesters shouted slogans against the BJP-led Centre and State
government demanding withdrawal of CAA and sought full implementation of the historic Assam Accord, 1985.
