GUWAHATI, Aug 31 - The All Assam Students� Union has clarified that it is not a part of the newly constituted Indigenous Forum (Khilanjia Mancha) Assam.

�The AASU, along with 28 organisations representing ethnic communities of the State, has been working to protect the interest of the indigenous people of the State and in future also, we will continue to work in the same way with more courage and conviction,� an AASU statement said here today.

�Yesterday, the AASU representatives conveyed our point of view at a meeting organised by the pro-talk faction of ULFA,� the statement further added.
