GUWAHATI, May 27 � The All Assam Students� Union today announced that it would extend support to five students who have secured ranks in the Higher Secondary examinations this year to persue their higher studies.
Accordingly, its Barpeta district unit would extend support to Gitika Talukdar and it has already provided electricity connection to her house. The Darrang district unit of the student body would extend support to Nilakshi Baishya, Gogaghat district unit would support Priyanchi Baishya, Tezpur unit will support Lakshi Sarma and the Kamrup district unit and Rangiya local unit will extend support to Sailen Thakuria.
