GUWAHATI, Sept 14 � The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) has flayed the State Government for being unable to solve the problem of artificial floods in the city that has crippled the day-to-day life of the common man since the last week.
Affected residents of Nabin Nagar, Anil Nagar, Lachit Nagar and Rajgarh took out a procession with placards showing the Government departments concerned as defunct.
A press release issued by the students� body informed that all the assurances of the government machineries have appeared hollow and if concrete steps are not taken to address the woes of the public, the resentment would turn serious.
