MORIGAON, Oct 4 - In the election to the Morigaon College Students� Union body, the All Assam Students� Union (AASU) candidates captured 11 seats out of 12. Only one seat went to an NSUI candidate.
Candidates from AASU, NSUI, ABVP and AISF contested in all the 12 seats. For the general secretary�s post, AASU candidate Abhinava Saranga Nath was declared elected. The other winning candidates are: Mrinmoy Borkakoti, Manash Shankar Bordoloi, Jyotish Kumar Deka, Dibya Jyoti Hazarika, Sangkumoni Hazarika, Narayan Jyoti Dekaraja, Madhusmita Deka, Monjyotshna BuraGohain, Lizashri Hazarika, Shyamolima Deka. NSUI candidate Hirok Jyoti Nath was elected for the vice-president�s post.
