GUWAHATI, June 7 - Eminent writer and dramatist Prabhat Goswami�s drama Aai-the mother was staged at Rabindra Bhawan auditorium on June 5. Presented by Guwahati�s socio-cultural organisation Biswa Foundation, the drama got good response from the audience.

Directed by the dramatist himself, the play told a story of an old lady who had been suffering from Alzhiemer�s disease. The main role was enacted by national award winning film actress Moloya Goswami. She was supported by popular actor Prastuti Parashar and other actors Anita Chakraborty, Dilip Baruah, Deb Kashyap (Mumbai) and Guru Prasad Sarma.

Before the second show Biswa Foundation�s half yearly socio-literary- cultural Assamese magazine Mancha� The stage was also released. Edited by Naren Hazarika, the first issue of the magazine has been prepared as a drama special issue and it contains a total of 50 articles on drama and dramatic art.
