9 scribes chosen for�GNRC fellowship programme

GUWAHATI, March 20 - Nine city-based journalists have been selected for GNRC Media Fellowship Programme 2018, where the�fellows�will study the overall healthcare situation and probable initiatives for the benefit of common people in the coming days.

The session is expected to start from the first week of April and each fellow will receive a lump sum remuneration of Rs 10,000 from the

management of GNRC group.

The�fellows�are expected to attend regular interactive sessions with the physicians in the healthcare institute and report about their experiences in their respective media outlets.

�The output of the fellowship�programme is expected to help the policy makers in formulating schemes for the development of medical care and infrastructure in our region,� said Dr NC Borah, chairman cum managing director of GNRC Hospitals.

The selected fellows are Hemanta Borah (Asomiya Pratidin), Mukut Roy (Dainik Agradoot), Deepu Kumar Bairagi (Amar Asom), Dhirumoni Gogoi (Dainik Janambhumi), Pranabjyoti Dutta (Dainik Janambhumi), Nitali Sarmah (Asomiya Khabar), Junmoni Gogoi (Asomiya Khabar), Sandeep Kumar Sharma (Pratah Khabar) and Kaustove Moni Kakoty (Pratidin Time).
