MANGALDAI, March 6 � In a bizarre incident as many as nine persons were killed when a speeding truck bearing registration number AMM 1489 lost control and ran into a crowd on the roadside along National Highway 52 at Beshimari under Dalgaon Police Station this evening.
Seventeen others who were injured in the tragic incident were immediately rushed to Mangaldai Civil Hospital.
Four of those killed were identified as Younis Ali, Ananda Das, Musharaf and Fakir Ali.
