GUWAHATI, April 16 - GRP personnel seized nine gold bars from three persons, including a woman from Mizoram at the Guwahati Railway Station on Friday last.
The seizure was made during routine checking of the Dn Rajdhani Express at around 5.45 am.
The nine gold bars weigh around 15 kg.
The accused have been identified as Henlalson Vaiphei (32) of Haflong, L Thanga (27) of Mamit (Mizoram) and Lalremsaimi (41) of Aizwal.
Earlier on Thursday night, during checking of the Dn Avadh Assam Express, GRP personnel recovered narcotics, suspected to be brown sugar, from one Md Khabil Ahmed of Uttar Pradesh. The narcotics weighed around 1.5 kg.
