By Correspondent

JALUKBARI, March 6 - Nineteen Himalayan griffon endangered vultures were found lying in a field near Kukurmara on Sunday, out of which eight later died.

The endangered vultures were affected after consuming poison-infested animal carcasses. The remaining eleven birds were rescued by forest officials with the help of some local villagers and were put under observation at the Rani Vulture Breeding and Protection Centre under the care of Dr Porag Deuri.
