IMPHAL, May 30 � The pass percentage in this year�s Council of Higher Secondary Education(CHSE) Manipur conducted 10+2 examination was 75.67. The results were declared here last evening.
A total of 17,014 students including 6706 first divisioners passed out of 22,483 students who had appeared in the examination held a few months back. The results are also available at http://manresults.nic.in.
Among the first divisioners 5876 belong to Science stream while 769 are from the Arts stream and 61 from Commerce stream.
A total of 9021 students including 2873 (Arts), 5931(Science), 217(Commerce) passed in second division while 1103 students including 895 (Arts), 253 (Science) and 55 (Commerce) passed in third division. A total of 491 students got star marks.
Interestingly no student from government schools could secure a place in the top 20 positions in the Science stream but in Arts, a student of a government school secured the top position.
Heikrujam Prasanjeet of Human Resource Development Academy, Ghari got the first position in Science stream with total of 479 marks with letter marks in English, Alternative English, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics. He is son of Pangabam Ibemu Devi and Nabakumar Singh of Heiranghoithong Naoriya Pakhang Lakpa.
Vijaya Sanasam of TG Higher Secondary School topped the Arts stream with a total of 420 marks with letter marks in five subjects. She is the daughter of Sanasam Ongbi Leimaton and Sanasam Biramohon of New Checkon in Imphal.
Mebidita Chirom of SDJM Higher Secondary School with a total of 368 marks bagged the top position in the Commerce stream. She is the daughter of Chirom Sharat and Chirom Ongbi Lata Devi of Sagolband Yongkhom Leirak in Imphal.
Daisingam Kamei of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (Arts and Commerce), Maram secured the highest marks in Elective English. Daisingam who is the son of Linkungam Thomas and Gabriela Gairenliu of Pongrinlong Charoi Pangongba village got 80 marks.
Lizii Paveine Ramai and Longshang Mayori of Mt Everest College scored the highest marks in History getting 70 marks each.
