DOOMDOOMA, Jan 24 - Seven tourists are feared killed and four others were hurt when the Bolero vehicle they were travelling in fell off the steep hills of Mayodia, a tourist spot in Lower Dibang Valley district in Arunachal Pradesh around 11 am today. The mishap occurred when the vehicle tried to give passage to another vehicle.
According to reports, Irshad Hussain (20), Anwar Hussain (20), Asif Ansari (19), Ansar Ahmed (33), Parvez Hussain (22), Amir Hussain (22), Narshad Ahmed (25), Dildar Ali (35), Samshad Saikia (28), Wasim Akram (27) and Mujahidul Islam (21) of Gangabari near here had left for Mayodia this morning in the ill-fated vehicle.
Police rescued Dildar Ali, Samshad Saikia, Wasim Akram and Mujahidul Islam and sent them to hospital. The others are still missing. The rescue operation has been stopped due to darkness.
