Meanwhile, NSCN-K chairman SS Khaplang has asked his boys to refrain from attacking the rival groups from December 20, 2012 to January 20, 2013 so as to enable the Nagas to spend this festive season peacefully. However, Khaplang asked his boys to remain alert so as to thwart any attack from the rivals.

The NSCN-K chairman said this while extending his Christmas and New Year greetings on behalf of his outfit today.

He directed that no cadres from the NSCN-K should launch any offensive activity but to be alert always. He said unless they are attacked upon, his cadres should not launch any attack on rivals.
